HELLO MAC, yes all fine here, been busy over the last few days.
Had breakfast this morning with Basher, he sends his best to everyone.
Sounds like a good trip you are on.
Saw my Doc last Thursday, he took blood and listened to my Corfu problems, I go back to him this Thursday to see what he has found in my blood samples, but I feel fine at moment, still a little tired from my holiday, will add I have lost a stone over the last month or so, reason I don't know, I am not on any diet but have cut down a lot, so we will see.
Danbouy gone quiet also on this site, as for that Tosser Johno who knows!!!!!.
When you next in UK Mac, only ask in case I want to do your house over!!!!.
Nowt else to report.
Break a leg.

Hey up everybody I am back, got home Friday pm after a very eventful holiday in Corfu. We had three heavy thunder storms over three days, we also had a earthquake which I missed because I was asleep, they enemy heard and felt it so did most guests at breakfast next morning.
And on top of this I had 24 hours in the local Clinic, thought I was having a heart attack, but alas false alarm, after a night of having things pumped into me I felt fine next day, so back to normal. They couldn't tell me what the problem was but stressed it was not a heart attack...I had ECG, X-ray, blood samples taken twice, blood pressure take at least four times over night. They were really good. Put our NHS to shame. Seeing my own Doctor on Thursday he can stand by.
Breakfast Tuesday with Basher so it's all back to normal.
Don't know how numbers are going for Men's night Mac they don't talk on this site!!!!.
Alright Ray..
Nothing else to tell you .....break a leg.

Hey ol Bean, you look after yourself and go easy on them big breakfasts. Glad to hear that it wasnt a heart attack and just goes to prove what we have always been sayin....you havent got a heart!!! Well settled in now and as usual vacation is a long distant memory. Still not heard anything from Johno so I dont know waht has gone wrong there he has just dripped of the face of the earth. He is still on the big ship so we are obvioulsy out of favour. Danbouy is back of his "scotch" trip and it sounds like he enjoyed himself, certainly covered some miles. You are right about this site and no news at all on the mens night except that Wiggy was determined to go ahead with the event no matter the response but if apathy stays as it is they will soon be looking for another Social Sec. Ray has been doing his best to promote as well but we will have to see what response they get. Anyway that's all from me for the moment so play nice, love and peace!

Back from a stunning 2440 + mile journey of pure breathtaking scenery and the weather was stunning. Yes Mac went to Lewis, Harris, The Uists, Benbenula and Barra. Through all the places you mentioned. We also managed one day in Ullswater and also a day at Chester Zoo follow by an Afternoon in Warwick. Stand by Cornwall off to Porthleven on Saturday 22nd for the week. Reckon that will be MTJ trips until New Year.

Not much traffic on this site lately, we can't all be that busy.
Bumped into Tony Booth and Ruby Murray in town today, both still working Ruby on the buses and Tony working for the NHS. The older generation may remember Ruby.
Breakfast on Tuesday, Tony may be joining us.
Only a week to go and I'm off for two weeks, really need a holiday right now, not like Johno and Mac they are on one continued holiday.
Glued to the Rider Cup right now, we have not started very well.

Alright everyone, not much happened since my last ditty.
We didn't have breakfast last Tuesday, Basher got stuck in traffic, don't know how when he only lives about 10 minutes from the Harvester, after chat on phone we decided to cancel it till this coming Tuesday. However I did have breakfast on Friday with the Drivers from Age UK.
Went to the Jack Rabbitt out Derriford for meal on Saturday, have not been there for over 5 years when I had a bad meal, well what a difference, meal was very good, service brilliant.
Johno are you out there, I am starting to run a book on what has happened to you, No1 at moment, you have caught a tropical disease are are in intensive care. No2 you are still rounding up your sheep and No3 you are very busy doing the laundry on the ship to speak to us. Has anyone got any more ideas, come on Mac track him down!!!.
Liverpool playing very well now, a pleasure to watch them.
Who is this stranger adding bits to our Web Site. Well I hope numbers are going very well, Wiggy gone quiet on this site so I assume he his giving everyone shit on Facebook, wrong site Wiggy.

(492) Hi All,
What can I say? Terrible support to Ray from the team. This is a trend that will not turn out to be the norm.
Those that are paid up should have noticed we get the minutes out pretty fast after the meeting, those that aren't, well.... you still get them so that has to be worth something right?

Here's a cut & paste from Wiggys old post further down this page...

"19 November, Mount Edgcumbe Masonic Hall, Citadel Road East, Plymouth. Annual Men Only Dinner, Four Course Meal, Wine and Port, Cheap beer £3.00 a pint bar till late. The venue is an alleyway from the Barbican. Rig: Jacket and tie. All Gunners, Ex Gunners, AWW's and male guests welcome. Cost £20 for members and £25 for non-members/guests. Limited places so get in early and make a good night of it. For more details PM Wiggy (Alan) Bennett".

These evenings have lost the numbers as the years have gone on but one thing that’s always been synonymous with this fixture is that they’re a damn good laugh. Come along, meet up and above all – have some fun. Only this time Scouse, please don’t sit in the Absent Friends Chair, St Barbara will send the lightening to your house!
I hope whoever can made it does.

Agree about the para olympics. Final preps ready for next Wednesday's Grand Tour of Scotland and the Outer Hebrides. Just been reminded when we get back we have a final week end caravan and MTJ in Port Leven. Reckon Johno is on secret service mission. Sad news about the lifeboat falling from Harmony (I believe) must have been a MOB drill.

Danbouy what the hell are you doing up at 0603, like to remind you once again YOU ARE RETIRED.

Probably Johno' s ship....

My ship is thevRafiance of the Seas and this happened on the Harmony.....sad news. It was probably the monthly lowering of the Lifeboats although details are not clear at the moment. Johno was on the Oasis of the Seas but it looks like he is working undercover.....his duvet that is! Don't know what's up with him. Anyway what part of the Outer Hebrides are you going to Danbouy is it just down through Skye. Anyway play nice, love and peace.

Thought I best wait until now as Terry is worried when I post early. Thing is most mornings I am awake by six. Mac our plan is to take the ferry from Ullapool to Stornaway, then travel south Island hopping by ferry or causeway eventually arriving on the North of Barra travel to Borve camp sateen the west of the island then onto Castle Bay ferry over to Oban. Then continue Western Scotland including Arrochar and Loch Lomond. All at a very leisurely pace with only ferry times to aim for. Will check all the Ferries for Johno!

Fantastic Danbouy and a great itinerary. I was born in Stornaway but lived and brought up in a small village called Leverburgh in the South of Harris. If you are getting the ferry to the Uists then it will be from Leverburgh. The family home is still there but haven't been back for a few years now. If you are taking in Skye then the Ferry will be from Tarbert where I went to school. All in all I hope you enjoy your jaunt and there are certainly some spectacular sights that await you.

Had small AMP on monday, leisure battery replaced as it wouldn't hold a full charge, second one fitted. TV booster enhanced. All good now for about 4/5 weeks away from 21st sept. Promise not to cause any hold ups on the roads Mac. If wifi available shall put a quick update on. For those on FB photos will be posted when possible. Hope all is well in Chile Mac, Johno I take it is now back on a ship and Danbouy is or was blocking the roads up in Scotland in his "MTJ".

Well Hello Scouse and others from this second rate country!! Yes I have seen the Olympics and being in the same time Zone didn't have to wait up until the wee hours of the morning to do so! Great stuff from our Team. I think you should help Wiggy out Scouse, as a guest, doesn't mean you have to attend the Meetings. This is a good deal and I hope he gets support. Danbouy is on a Cruise and hasn't started his blockage of Scotlans roads just yet! Johno is very quiet which is not unusual, still knackered from all his sheep shagging! Not sure that I don't prefer the Hyde Park for Brekkie, much nicer and the waitress was younger! Anyway that is all for now, play nice, love and peace.

Hello Mac, glad to see you are still getting communications over there in Chile. No don' t think Wiggy needs my help, members should help him if he needs it. He's an old sea salt he knows what needs doing, pushing it will be his challenge to get other members interested.
It's back to the Harvester for breakfast on Tuesday, I might suggest to Bash we alternate each week between Harvester and Hyde Park..
Nothing from Johno(how soon they forget).don't think Johno is in to sheep Mac, but then we never know with you Stewards on Cruise Ships!!!!.
Had trip out to Salcombe today took in Lunch which was very nice, place was packed though which was a surprise as weather not too good today, lots of ankle snappers so we didn't stay too long.
Hoe tomorrow for breakfast and coffee at the Terrace.

Welcome back Danbouy, I agree with you about Albania, we went there with Thomson a couple years ago, one hell of a shit hole, berthing fees must be dead cheap there.

We enjoyed a stop in Corfu and Crete very enjoyable. Santorini was superb and we are looking at renting a huge villa next year and taking loads of family with us. Venice was a case of very picturesque but so crowded. At one point on the saturday there were nine cruise ships in. Over 50,000 visitors everyday. Too crowded for me. Bridge lookouts keep a good look out for Johno!!! Cheers.

Have a safe trip back Mac, might see you in October. Had breakfast this morning at the Hyde Park, it certainly gives the Harvester a run for the money, I think Hyde Park might just have it. We are there again next week and then it's back to the Harvester, it opens again on the 27th.
Uk still doing well in Rio, hope you get it in that second rate country you are now back in Mac. You must feel like a millionaire when you are there.
Danbouy is blocking the roads up in Scotland I think, so hey guys there's two houses empty, hit them quick.
You all break a leg.

As Scouse has already reported fine breakfast at the Hyde Park, great value and nice setting. Danbout stunned us all BR saying that he was going to "Find Dorey" most of us didn't even know he was lost, sequel to Nemo apparently, who would have known! Good Luck Danbouy better than the threat of taking the MTJ to Chile to wind me up. How was beautiful too. Play nice, love and peace?

We are on way up North again into Alaskan waters but for me for the last time for now anyway. When you are having breakfast on Tuesday I will be signing off in Juneau and heading for home after 5 very long months. I land in the UK on the afternoon of the 3rd and will probably stay with my sister that evening and head back to Guzz on the 4th. Only home for just over a week before heading off to Chile for most of my time off. Looking forward to a brekkie at the Hyde Park but where to Park Scouse? Not a word from Mr Johnson who should be back on his war canoe by now so I will try and contact him before I come back. Well thats it for now so play nice, love and peace!

Right parking Mac. Coming from Peverell, towards Mutley as you pass the big school on the right just before the Hyde Park and come to the big wall on right turn there follow road around car park is just there costs a £1 for an hour. Then just walk through the gap up to the pub. If not sure phone me on 561471 on the morning or failing that I can pick you up, discuss nearer the date which is Tuesday week. Up York / Liverpool right now get back on Wednesday, so if any tosser wants to break in to my house, then put something in there rather than take it out.

There is also parking opposite the pub up the one way road which loops around past the Hyde Park School (which was the school Bernie was Head Teacher at for many years).

Last day shipmates and I leave this gin palace tomorrow and start the long trek home. This station will not be monitored for a couple of days now. I have also had my phone die on me since I have been gone so you will need to call me as I have lost all contacts, so much for modern technology. Any way play nice, love and peace.
